“A proper craft shop, how they used to be”

Cheshire Crafts is based in Wharton in Winsford, Cheshire and is ran by Joy and Natalie.
​
A bricks and mortar craft shop, that looks small from the outside, but we promise we are a lot bigger than we seem...we are described as an Aladdin's cave for all thing paper crafting... plus much more.
​
We can truthfully say that we’re one of the largest independent craft stores in the North West, which, in turn, means we can carry stock from lots of different suppliers.
​
Jenny opened Cheshire Crafts in 2000 at Lady Hayes before moving to bigger premises in Winsford (current location). In 2012 Jenny acquired a business partner called Joy who had been a loyal customer for many years’ and became a Limited Company which meant we could expand even more.
​
In 2019 Jenny needed a side kick for the day to day running of the shop – and along came Natalie who had been coming to the shop with her parents for many years. She was already a crafter, but not so much a card maker – she is now! She runs classes and has been on the Design Team for Creative Expressions.
​
Since the covid pandemic, Jenny has decided to retire. Natalie now predominantly runs the shop, aswell as our website, social media and classes. Joy, who has now retired from her job, helps out in the shop when its needed, but does alot more of the behind the scenes jobs looks after our finances etc and also runs classes here in the shop.
