Use along with your machine's included platform (Sizzix BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond Machine) the impressions pad is a durable accessory made specifically for embossing with a silicone rubber mat (sold separately).
 
This pad precisely compensates for the proper pressure and height required for pressing thin material surfaces such as paper, cardstock and foil to make a lasting impression. For added versatility, use Sizzix impressions pad and silicone rubber to emboss with any metal stencil including Thinlits Dies.
